日前，美联储宣布将联邦基金利率的目标区间下调50个基点。在接受中新网采访时，澳大利亚中国工商业委员会董事会前成员、丝绸之路国际商会澳大利亚代表戴若·顾比(Daryl Guppy)表示，本次美联储的大幅降息，反映出美国自身债务问题危机四伏，并对全球市场产生影响，尤其是与美元挂钩的国家。一些国家的货币政策将不得不跟随美国脚步，尽管这些措施可能不适合当地的经济环境。

The Federal Reserve has announced a benchmark interest rate cut by 50 basis points to a new range of 4.75%-5%.
